• Arc Loops works with local models, self-hosted servers, and API agents. Set a goal, delay, cycle limit, and observed-cost limit; pause, resume, or stop from the room. Arc must remain running and the computer awake. Cost limits use recorded usage and may be exceeded by an in-flight request.
• Edit instructions for future cycles, change saved loop settings, and review a restart with fresh counters. Earlier results remain available. Global cycle and loop-control prompts can also be edited in Settings.
• Open Agent settings from the agent menu to edit room identity, instructions, and supported limits. API agents now have a configurable output budget, with an 8,192-token default. Saved loop-agent limits apply at the next cycle.
• Configure repeated shell-command warnings and pauses globally or per agent. Self-hosted model requests queue in order, and interrupted loop actions with uncertain effects pause for inspection.
