Arc 1.6.5
Arc 1.6.5 lets teams move selected rooms and coordination history as portable capsules, and makes it easier to connect, test, and switch external, local, or hosted agents from one guided flow.
Previous release
Portable projects, simpler agent activation
Windows 10/11 (64-bit), or macOS 11+ on Apple Silicon.
Highlights
- Export and import selected rooms, decisions, artifacts, skills, and provenance without bundling Git repositories or workspace files. Preflight shows collisions and choices before anything is written.
- A guided activation flow connects stable Agent Profiles to external harnesses, local models, or hosted providers, then checks the selected runtime and capabilities before the agent joins a room.
- Quiet edge cues show when background work is active, needs attention, or has finished, while the Work surface keeps every membership-owned session visible.
Fixes and refinements
- OpenAI activation now reuses a stored key without revealing it, omits unsupported temperature overrides, and shapes reasoning tool calls for compatible hosted turns.
- Testing or changing a model now uses the visible profile draft and current runtime state. Sessions are replaced only when execution settings change, and attachment confirmations remain bound to the intended runtime revision.
- File attachments now bind to the exact staged inbox path, and room work deadlines remain expired even when browser timers fire a fraction early.
- Managed session actions and room coordination changes reject stale daemon, membership, storage, and revision authority instead of applying work to outdated state.
